In Uganda's halls of power and might,
A corrupt crew takes flight.
With pockets fat and hearts of stone,
They line their own, leave the people alone.
They swagger in their MP robes so fine,
Accused of looting, but silence divine.
Billions stolen, diverted with ease,
Taxpayers' money, a personal tease.
The people cry, demand justice true,
But leaders turn deaf, what to do?
Impunity reigns, corruption thrives,
Uganda's future, a bleak drive.
Nude protests rise, a bold statement made,
Against corruption, young hearts not swayed.
Arrested, silenced, but the message clear,
Uganda's parliament, wipe away the tear.
Change is needed, a new dawn's light,
To oust corruption, bring back what's right.
But till then, the nation will sigh,
As corruption reigns, and hope says goodbye.
