Letting it sift through my toes,
Relishing the warm caress of the African
sun,
Loving the feeling I could only describe,
With the coos of wonder that escaped from
my lips;
I looked out to sea
And drowned in the pure bliss,
Of seemingly floating away…
Away to my Lord’s arms,
To tell Him of my adventures,
Of the wonder of His work,
Of the intoxicating power of His beauty.
Suddenly,
I felt a pebble thrown against my leg by
the waves,
And I was dragged quite unwillingly,
Back to reality….
But all wasn’t lost,
For when I turned,
And saw my baby there,
And thought of my Buju O! so fondly,
I realized, “hey I am in His arms!!!”
In the cool gentle breeze against my
face,
In the passionately gentle eye of every
storm,
In the overwhelming trust in my son’s
eyes,
In the sweet gestures of my beloved,
Yes,
I am in His arms….
And I love Him so!!!!
